The Police Office of Tehri Garhwal district informed the news agency ANI that the aircraft was traveling from Badrinath Dham to Dehradun when the pilot was compelled to perform a precautionary landing due to the glitch. A total of six individuals, including the pilot, were aboard the helicopter, and officials have confirmed that all are safe and unharmed.

Cause of Emergency

Police stated that during the flight, the helicopter’s rear section sustained damage after coming into contact with a high-tension power line, which contributed to the emergency situation. The contact with the electrical infrastructure led to the need for an immediate landing.
