Businessman Found Dead in Hisar Hotel Under Suspicious Circumstances
A 32-year-old businessman was discovered deceased under highly suspicious conditions in a hotel room located in Rishi Nagar, Hisar, on Wednesday. The woman who had checked into the hotel alongside him reportedly fled the scene, prompting a police investigation.
Details of the Incident and Victim Identification
The deceased has been identified as Pradeep, a garment trader hailing from Kalirawan village. According to police reports, he checked into Room No. 203 of Relax Hotel accompanied by a woman named Pratibha, who is the wife of Manmohan and also resides in Kalirawan.
Subsequently, Pradeep was found dead in the hotel room, while Pratibha was conspicuously absent from the location. Upon receiving the information, law enforcement officials swiftly arrived at the hotel, took custody of the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
Family Reaction and Initial Resistance
Family members of the deceased initially refused to accept the body, demanding the immediate arrest of the woman involved. They later agreed to perform the last rites after receiving assurances from the superintendent of police that strict action would be taken against the culprits responsible for this tragic incident.
Police Case and Allegations
Based on a complaint lodged by Virendra, a relative of Pradeep and resident of Kalirawan village, a case has been registered at the City police station. The case has been filed under Sections 103(1) (murder) and 123 (causing harm by means of poison etc. with intent to commit an offence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against the woman, Pratibha.
In his complaint, Virendra stated that Pradeep operated a garment shop named 'Taj Kids Wear' in Agroha. He was married to Suman from Kuleri village and is survived by three daughters aged 8, 5, and 1. Virendra alleged that Pratibha might have administered a poisonous substance or injection to Pradeep, leading to his death, and demanded stringent action against her.
