Liquor Contractor Orchestrates Fake Shooting in Hisar to Secure Police Protection
In a startling revelation from Hisar, police have exposed a meticulously planned staged firing incident, masterminded by a liquor contractor with the sole intention of obtaining police protection. The elaborate scheme has led to the arrest of three individuals, including the contractor himself, shedding light on a case of calculated deceit.
Arrests Made in Chobara Village
The arrested individuals have been identified as Ajay, also known as Mantri, Ashok Kumar alias Akhan, and Uttam Kumar, all residents of Chobara village in Fatehabad district. According to sub-inspector Pradeep, the in-charge of CIA Ratia, the incident began when Ajay, who operates a liquor shop, filed a formal complaint on March 18. He alleged that an unidentified youth on a motorcycle had opened fire at his salesman with the intent to kill, prompting immediate police action.
Investigation Uncovers Inconsistencies
Based on the complaint, police promptly registered a case of attempt to murder and launched a thorough investigation. However, the probe took a dramatic turn when forensic experts examined the scene. They discovered significant inconsistencies at the spot, which raised serious doubts about the authenticity of the reported attack. These findings prompted deeper scrutiny into the matter.
Conspiracy Exposed Through Interrogation
Further interrogation of the suspects, combined with technical analysis, ultimately unraveled the truth. Police revealed that Ajay had conspired with his associates, Ashok and Uttam, to stage the fake shooting. The motive behind this elaborate act was to portray Ajay as a high-risk target, thereby creating a pretext to secure police protection for his business and personal safety.
All Accused in Custody
