The Padav police recently apprehended Pooja, a resident of Ambedkar Basti, after seizing 33.82 grams of chitta, commonly known as heroin, from her possession. During intensive and sustained interrogation, Pooja disclosed critical information about her involvement in the illicit drug trade. She confessed to operating alongside her mother-in-law, Bimla, in running the narcotics supply chain.
Second Arrest and Network Operations
Acting swiftly on this crucial disclosure, law enforcement officials moved to arrest Bimla. Preliminary investigations suggest that Bimla was allegedly managing the drug supply network in collaboration with her daughter-in-law.
