A shocking hit-and-run incident on a busy arterial road in Sribhumi town left two pedestrians critically injured after a speeding four-wheeler allegedly lost control and rammed multiple vehicles on Thursday morning.

According to local sources, the car was moving at high speed along the main road when the driver suddenly lost control. The vehicle first hit a motorcycle, then collided with an autorickshaw, followed by a scooter, before ploughing into two pedestrians walking along the roadside. The injured pedestrians, identified as Ajit Dhar and Anup Chakraborty, sustained grievous injuries.
