Indumati Balabantaray, a 68-year-old woman suffering from multiple health ailments, was engaged in her daily routine of plucking flowers in her garden around 5 am when the terrifying incident occurred. According to her detailed complaint, a hoodie-wearing assailant suddenly emerged from the shadows, pointing a firearm directly at her head and demanding complete silence.
The calculated criminal took additional precautions to ensure his crime went uninterrupted. Before demanding valuables, he strategically latched the entrance door from outside to prevent any family members from intervening if the victim raised an alarm. His face remained completely concealed by the hoodie, making identification extremely challenging for both the victim and subsequent investigations.

"Terrified beyond measure, I immediately removed my gold earrings and handed them over," recounted a trembling Balabantaray. "The miscreant then demanded my bangles.
