Howrah: Aakash Singh, a notorious figure and a close associate of former Howrah North MLA Goutam Choudhary, was arrested by the Howrah City Police detective department on Thursday. His accomplice was also taken into custody during the operation. The arrests were made in Kolaghat, and the accused were found in possession of foreign-made firearms, according to police officials.
