Coimbatore: Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) executive committee chief coordinator and minister K A Sengottaiyan launched a sharp attack on AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami, asserting that the internal turmoil and decline of the party were direct consequences of its leaders lacking concern for the cadre and the public.
Sengottaiyan's Remarks on Athikadavu-Avinashi Project
Speaking to reporters at the Coimbatore airport on Thursday, Sengottaiyan referred to the execution of the Athikadavu-Avinashi project. He stated, "There were those who thought their face alone was enough for the project's success and deliberately excluded the photos of MGR and Jayalalithaa from the celebrations. Today, the dreams of those who sought personal glory over the legacy of our leaders have been shattered into pieces."
TVK's Rise to Power
Reflecting on TVK's rise to power, Sengottaiyan claimed that chief minister Vijay had made history by winning an election without the influence of money. He emphasized that the current administration remained focused on vision-driven schemes rather than populist rhetoric.
Commitment to Social Welfare
The minister reiterated the TVK government's commitment to social welfare and public safety, underscoring the party's dedication to serving the people without resorting to empty promises.
