According to preliminary reports from the Gokul Road police station, Masabbi and her husband, Irfan, who works as a construction laborer, had been married for approximately five years. The couple was residing in a rented accommodation within the same locality.
Financial Strain and Alleged Harassment Preceded the Tragedy
Police investigations suggest that the couple frequently quarreled over financial issues, with the immediate trigger being a dispute related to a gold loan. Masabbi's family members have come forward with serious allegations, claiming that Irfan had been consistently harassing his wife, pressuring her to obtain money from her maternal home.
