A tragic incident occurred in Hyderabad's Yakutpura area on Sunday night, where a 26-year-old bakery worker, Habeeb Pasha alias Sameer, was allegedly stabbed to death by his younger brother, Md Farooq Pasha, aged 24, during a heated argument at their residence.
Details of the Incident
The deceased's sister, Shabana Begum, a resident of Yakutpura, filed a complaint with the police. She stated that around 8 pm, she received information from locals that her brothers were quarrelling at their house in Sadath Nagar, Yakutpura. Rushing to the spot, she found Habeeb Pasha lying dead in a pool of blood, with multiple stab wounds on his chest, ribs, and other parts of the body. She alleged that her younger brother, Md Farooq Pasha, attacked Habeeb with a knife and killed him.
Accomplice Involved
The complaint further alleged that Arshad alias Barfu, 26, a resident of Badlaguda, assisted Farooq during the attack. Rein Bazar inspector C Nethaji informed that Habeeb used to frequently quarrel with his family members while under the influence of alcohol. Despite repeated warnings, he did not mend his ways, which led to the fatal altercation.
Legal Action Taken
Based on Shabana Begum's complaint, a case was registered under Section 103(1) (Murder), read with Section 3(5) (Common intention), of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against Farooq and Arshad. Both accused have reportedly been taken into custody by the police.
