Her husband Ashok was driving the motorcycle from Chanchalguda to Nacharam with their two children, aged 5 and 8, when the collision occurred. Police reports indicate that the bike made contact with the bus from the side, causing all four riders to fall onto the road.

The family was traveling to visit Anitha's sister in Nacharam when the accident happened. Ashok, who operates his own business, sustained minor injuries along with both children. Emergency services responded to the scene, but Anitha could not be saved.
