Jabalpur Police Unravel Shocking Case of Electrocution and Body Dumping
In a chilling revelation from Jabalpur, police have successfully solved the case of a body found tied with wire and dumped in a dam, uncovering that a 26-year-old man died after accidental contact with a live GI wire laid for illegal hunting in a field under the Kundam police station jurisdiction.
Gruesome Details of the Incident Emerge
According to police officials, the accused individuals had installed a GI wire connected to an electric current specifically to trap wild animals in the area. Kapil Temre, aged 26 and a resident of Ghughra village, tragically came into contact with this live wire while in the field, resulting in his immediate death at the scene.
In a desperate attempt to conceal the fatal incident, the perpetrators tied Kapil's body with the same GI wire, wrapped it securely in a blanket along with heavy stones, and callously dumped it into the waters of Sil Dam. This act was intended to hide all evidence of the electrocution and avoid legal consequences.
Police Investigation and Family's Ordeal
Police reports indicate that Kapil Temre left his home on January 30 to visit the fields but never returned. His concerned family members conducted extensive searches for him and eventually filed a formal missing person complaint at the Kundam police station on Sunday.
The breakthrough came on Tuesday when authorities recovered Kapil's body from Sil Dam. It was found still tied with wire and wrapped in a blanket weighted down with stones. Following this discovery, police registered a merg (inquest report) and launched a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Through diligent investigative work, police have identified and apprehended six individuals in connection with this crime. The accused are:
- Lamman Singh Kadopa (32)
