In a shocking incident from the Pink City, Jaipur police have made an arrest in connection with the brutal murder of a married woman inside her rented home. The accused, a young man working as a bike driver for popular ride-hailing services, allegedly strangled the victim following a dispute over their illicit relationship.

The tragic event unfolded on Monday evening in the Malpura Gate area's Mahavir Nagar Z. The victim, identified as Neetu Sain, was alone at her rented residence with her young daughter after her husband had left for work. According to the police timeline, around 9:54 PM, the police control room received critical information about a woman being strangled inside her house.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Sanjeev Nain provided details, stating that the accused, Himanshu Solanki (25), a resident of Sanganer, visited the house after the complainant's departure. An intense argument reportedly erupted between Solanki and Neetu concerning their extramarital relationship. During this altercation, the accused is alleged to have used his hands and a muffler to strangle Neetu to death before fleeing the scene.
The Investigation and Swift Arrest
Acting swiftly on the complaint filed by the victim's husband, the Jaipur police constituted a special investigation team. This team operated under the direct supervision of Additional DCP Alok Kumar Singhal and ACP Sanganer Harishankar Sharma.
