Jaipur Man Files FIR Against Wife, Lover for Murder Plot

A city-based man has lodged an FIR at Shastri Nagar police station, alleging that his wife and her alleged lover conspired to murder him, threatened to implicate him in false criminal cases, and fled with gold and silver jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. Police confirmed that the FIR was registered on Saturday.

Details of the Complaint

According to the complaint, the couple got married in February 2025. However, the woman allegedly continued a relationship with another man even after the marriage. The complainant stated, “She used to remain on phone calls with the alleged lover late into the night and frequently took money from him on various pretexts, including online transfers.”

The husband further alleged that after he discovered the relationship and stopped giving her money, the alleged lover began pressuring her to eliminate him. On January 6, 2026, the alleged lover called his wife and allegedly instructed her to kill him quickly. Subsequently, while he was asleep at night, his wife tied both his legs tightly with a dupatta and attempted to tie his hands. However, he woke up during the act and questioned her. She allegedly dismissed it as a joke, saying she could not sleep.
