In a swift police operation, Jamshedpur law enforcement authorities apprehended a habitual offender from the Parvati crematorium area on Sunday, recovering precious gemstones valued at a staggering ₹2.50 lakh from his possession. According to DSP (Law and Order) Tauqir Alam, the accused Arbaz Khan (20) executed his criminal plan on Saturday when he noticed the gemstone shop unattended. Seizing the opportunity, the young man from Panchi in Jugsalai sneaked into the establishment and made off with an entire box containing precious stones.
The stolen merchandise consisted of 443 individual pieces of various gemstones, representing significant value for the shop owner. The theft occurred during business hours, highlighting the boldness of the criminal act.
CCTV Footage Leads to Swift Justice
