A 48-year-old woman associated with the Jeevika scheme was discovered deceased under mysterious conditions in Bihar's Supaul district, prompting a police investigation into the cause of her death.

The incident occurred in a rented house located in the Lalpatti area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Triveniganj police station. The woman has been identified as Seema Devi, who worked as a Jeevika Didi. Her body was found on Saturday, sending shockwaves through the local community.
