Police investigations revealed that Singh was allegedly procuring brown sugar and heroin, along with other stimulants, from Jitu alias Abinash Kumar, a 33-year-old from Ghousganj in Bihar. Singh then distributed the drugs locally with the assistance of his associates, Ananta Kumar Panda, 52, and Mantu Dash, 31, both residents of Jharsuguda.
Seizure of Contraband and Evidence
During the raid, officers recovered a variety of items linked to the drug trade, including:
- 6.36 grams of brown sugar
- White powder and stone-like stimulants
- Drug packaging materials
- Four mobile phones
- A weighing scale
- A motorcycle
- Rs 2,770 in cash
