  • A government job for the dependants of Udayveer Singh
  • Action against the accused's allegedly illegal property

Administrative Action and Demolition

In view of the escalating communal tension in the village and the demands from local villagers, the administration took swift action. Under heavy police deployment, authorities used a bulldozer to demolish an allegedly illegal encroachment by the accused on johad (pond) land. This move was aimed at addressing the protesters' concerns and restoring order in the area.

Details of the Tragic Incident

According to police reports, the altercation occurred when Udayveer Singh was sitting at a shop in the village. An argument broke out between him and Akram, which quickly escalated. Akram allegedly attacked Singh with a sharp-edged weapon, inflicting fatal injuries. Locals rushed Singh to a private hospital in Chirawa, from where he was referred to Jaipur for advanced treatment. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries on the way.

Police Response and Security Measures

Following the incident, police from Surajgarh, Pilani, and Chirawa stations reached Chirawa government hospital, where the body was brought and kept. ASP Devendra Singh Rajawat personally inspected the crime scene to oversee the investigation. Due to the heightened communal tension, police conducted a flag march and deployed a heavy force in the village to prevent any further violence or unrest. Officers emphasized that these measures were crucial to maintaining peace and ensuring public safety.

Protest Called Off After Assurances

Late on Monday evening, after receiving assurances from the administration regarding their demands, the villagers decided to call off the protest. This decision came following negotiations that addressed the key issues raised by the community, helping to de-escalate the tense situation. The administration's prompt actions, including the arrest and demolition, played a role in calming the protesters and restoring a semblance of normalcy to Bamanwas village.
