Kanpur Man Found Dead Near Railway Track, Family Alleges Foul Play
In a tragic incident in Kanpur, a 25-year-old man was discovered deceased near a railway track in the Dabauli West area late on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Adarsh Sharma, a resident of Jarauli Phase-2, who worked as a helper on a tanker.
Family's Account of Events
According to family members, Adarsh left his home in Govind Nagar around 6 pm, stating he was going to purchase medicine for his mother. However, they revealed that he had also planned to meet his married girlfriend in Gujaini and had instructed his sister to keep this meeting a secret.
Discovery and Police Response
Later that evening, passersby spotted a body near the railway track and promptly informed the authorities. Police from the Govind Nagar police station arrived at the scene and were able to identify the deceased using an ID card belonging to a friend, which was found in his pocket.
Allegations of a Love Triangle and Murder
The family has alleged that Adarsh had been in a relationship with a woman he met two years ago while employed at a private factory. They claim that the woman got married six months ago, and previous meetings between Adarsh and her had resulted in disputes with her husband. Based on this, the family has accused the woman's husband of being responsible for Adarsh's death.

Govind Nagar station in-charge Rikesh Kumar stated that a report will be registered based on the family's complaint, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the death.
