Toll Plaza Manager Brutally Assaulted and Robbed in Kanpur Over Fee Dispute
A violent altercation erupted at the Dariya Niwada toll plaza in the Shivrajpur police station area of Kanpur, resulting in a severe attack on the toll manager by a group of goons. The incident, which was captured on CCTV cameras, began as a dispute over allowing a vehicle to pass without paying the required toll fee.
Escalation of the Toll Fee Dispute
According to police reports, the conflict started when some goons pressured toll staff to permit their vehicle to pass through the plaza without making the mandatory payment. Subsequently, the aggressive group forced their way into the toll manager's office cabin. Inside, they launched a brutal assault on the manager, beating him severely and causing serious injuries. During the attack, the goons also carried out looting, stealing items from the premises before fleeing the scene to evade immediate capture.
Police Response and Investigation Efforts
Law enforcement officials have confirmed that the accused individuals have been identified based on evidence, including the CCTV footage from the toll plaza. Police teams are actively conducting raids across the area in a concerted effort to locate and arrest the suspects involved in this violent crime.
