The Kanpur administration has announced comprehensive traffic diversions in the Panki area on Thursday in observance of Hanuman Jayanti. These measures will be enforced starting from 6 am to ensure smooth movement for devotees and maintain public order during the religious festivities.

Detailed Route Plans for Devotees

For devotees arriving from Kanpur Dehat via Thana Sachendi and Bhaunti Bypass Chauraha: Proceed from Bhaunti Chauraha to Panki Padav Gangaganj Crossing, then turn left to access the temple. Parking facilities are available on both sides of the road from Station Road trisection along the Gangaganj route and on connecting link roads.

For those traveling from Hamirpur, Fatehpur, Unnao, and other districts: Use Ghantaghar Chauraha, Ramadevi Chauraha, Naubasta Chauraha, and Vijay Nagar Chauraha to reach the temple premises. Turn right at Bhatiya trisection to approach the temple. Vehicle parking is permitted inside MIG trisection and on both sides of the Panki Thana road.

For devotees coming from Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, and Farrukhabad via Kalyanpur: Travel from Kalyanpur through Awas Vikas Nahar Panki and MIG Road. Parking is allocated at the Ramlila Maidan located at Sabzi mandi trisection.

For those arriving from Kanpur Dehat via Shivli Rasulabad road through Jawaharpuram, Shatabdi Nagar, and Ratanpur: Park vehicles on both sides of the road from Narayana College Chauraha up to Shatabdi Nagar Road Tiraha.

Key Diversion Points and Vehicle Restrictions

Traffic originating from the Kalyanpur side will be redirected via Awas Vikas Nahar Panki to Amapur Nahar Tiraha or MIG Tiraha towards their destinations. Important restrictions include:

  • No heavy or medium vehicles will be allowed from Panki Road Chawki and Thana Kalyanpur towards Panki Nahar.
  • No heavy or medium vehicles permitted from Bhatiya Tiraha towards Panki Mandir; they must proceed via Amapur Nagar.
