The doctor explained that a 6.35mm bullet pierced the left side of Roy's chest, causing significant internal damage to both the heart and stomach before coming to rest near the ribs at the back.
"The bullet did not exit the body," Dr Aravind stated clearly. "Our examination revealed no other injuries on the body. Based on our comprehensive findings, we conclude that Roy died specifically from the bullet wound."

The medical superintendent further noted that Roy was found holding the pistol in his right hand at the time of discovery. Currently, experts from the Forensic Science Laboratory are conducting detailed examinations of his palm and fingers, specifically searching for traces of gunpowder residue that could provide additional context about the incident.
