Acting on a complaint filed by the mother of the class-5 student, law enforcement officials swiftly picked up the five boys involved. The juveniles were produced before a juvenile justice board on Sunday, which subsequently ordered their placement in a shelter home pending further legal proceedings.
Discovery of the Crime
The distressing situation came to light when the young girl fell severely ill on Saturday, complaining of intense bleeding and pain in her private parts. Her mother, alarmed by the symptoms, began questioning her daughter. Initially hesitant, the girl eventually confided in her mother about the prolonged torture inflicted by the group of boys, all aged between 15 and 17 years.
