Authorities registered the case on Friday at Park Street Police Station. A formal complaint alleged that unknown persons committed the theft. According to the filed plaint, the incident occurred on or before 5 pm on January 13.

- Two gold chains weighing about 20 grams and 25 grams.
- A gold pendant studded with ruby and emerald stones.
- Cash amounting to Rs 25,000.
Police confirmed the two arrested men were engaged for painting work on the premises. Officers took them into custody during the investigation process.

An officer from the South Division explained their swift action. "We studied CCTV footage carefully," the officer stated. "We also used leads provided by the contractor. Based on this information, we carried out the arrests within hours of receiving the complaint."
