The deceased has been identified as Nasruddin Mian, a resident of the same village. According to police reports, the dispute involved Nasruddin Mian and another individual named Jai Shri Rai, centered around a piece of land. The situation quickly escalated into violence when Rai, along with his family members, allegedly attacked Nasruddin Mian using bricks and stones. This assault left the elderly man critically injured.
Police Response and Investigation
Following the attack, the victim was immediately rushed to the Ramnagar primary health centre. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later referred to GMCH Bettiah for advanced medical care. Tragically, Nasruddin Mian succumbed to his injuries while en route to the hospital.
In response to the incident, law enforcement authorities have taken swift action. Bagaha in-charge SP Kumari Nirmala confirmed that an FIR has been registered against approximately 12 individuals in connection with the case. So far, four accused have been arrested, and police are conducting raids to apprehend the remaining suspects.
