According to police reports, the household typically kept an extra cylinder within their compound for convenience. However, upon checking, they found it had vanished without a trace.
"Krishnappa immediately reviewed CCTV footage from the premises, which clearly revealed the theft had taken place," stated a police officer involved in the investigation. "The footage provided crucial evidence of the incident."

The CCTV recordings showed two individuals arriving at the property on a gearless scooter. One person acted as the rider while the other disembarked to commit the theft.
