Panic and alarm swept through the Lucknow district court on Wednesday following the reception of a bomb threat via email, which immediately triggered a high-level security alert and prompted a massive, coordinated search operation across the entire court premises.
Immediate Response and Thorough Security Sweep
Upon receiving the threatening communication, law enforcement authorities sprang into action without delay. Police units, alongside specialized teams from the Bomb Disposal Squad and various other security agencies, rushed to the scene to conduct an exhaustive inspection of the court complex.
The operation was personally supervised by senior police officials, including ACP Chowk Raj Kumar Singh and Wazirganj inspector Rajesh Tripathi, ensuring meticulous oversight. Security personnel meticulously scanned all critical areas, including:

This incident marks the second such security scare at the Lucknow district court in recent weeks. A similar bomb threat email was received on February 13, which also led to the evacuation of the premises and an extensive security check at that time.
The recurrence of such threats has raised concerns among court officials and security agencies about potential patterns or coordinated attempts to disrupt judicial proceedings and create public panic. Authorities are examining possible connections between the two incidents while maintaining heightened vigilance.
