Lufthansa passenger booked for assaulting crew on Hyderabad flight

Hyderabad: A criminal case has been registered against a passenger for allegedly assaulting and misbehaving with a cabin crew member aboard a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Hyderabad. The incident occurred on Friday during the LH752 flight, which departed Frankfurt at 1:32 pm Central European Time (5:02 pm IST) and landed in Hyderabad at 1:15 am, covering a duration of approximately eight hours.

Incident Details

According to the RGIA police, the complainant, a 59-year-old German national named Peter Baucer, was pushing a trolley down the aisle when it accidentally struck the leg of a passenger who had stretched his leg into the passage. Baucer stated in his complaint, "Even after I apologized, the accused became aggressive and kicked my leg. As a result, I suffered an abrasion."

Police said that the crew member attempted to calm the passenger, but he continued to behave aggressively. Later, as the flight was preparing to land, Baucer asked the passenger to fold his tray table. The passenger allegedly refused and showed his middle finger in a defiant gesture.
