Details of the Complaint

According to the victim's complaint, the primary accused, who identifies himself as a general secretary of the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), had been repeatedly pressuring the victim for money. The accused allegedly demanded Rs 2 lakh, promising the victim a lucrative, high-ranking organizational post once the party came to power. The complainant further alleged that the accused was operating a broader racket, extracting money from several other locals using the same false promises.

The assault occurred when the victim refused to comply with the demand, leading to the accused and his associates restraining him and attacking him with iron rods and bamboo sticks. The victim sustained injuries and later filed the complaint with the police.
