In a shocking incident at the Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada, a 20-year-old man was caught red-handed while attempting to record videos of women inside a toilet. The accused, identified as Naresh, a resident of Chittinagar in Vijayawada, managed to sneak into the women's restroom located on the sixth floor of the mahamandapam.
Alert devotees noticed his suspicious activity and quickly raised an alarm. Several women confronted Naresh and thrashed him before security personnel arrived at the spot and took him into custody. Women security staff immediately lodged a complaint with the One Town police, who arrested the accused and shifted him to the police station for further investigation.
Authorities are now examining Naresh's mobile phone to determine whether any videos were recorded and if similar incidents have occurred earlier.
