Prayagraj: The body of a 55-year-old man was discovered hanging from an electricity tower at Mugari village under the Industrial Area police station limits on Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as Devi Lal, a resident of Mugari Damri Ka Pura village.
Police Investigation Underway
Upon receiving information, a team from the Industrial Area police station, along with forensic experts, rushed to the scene and initiated an investigation. According to police officials, no suicide note was recovered from the deceased's belongings.
Background of the Deceased
Devi Lal was employed as a labourer and is survived by four children, including three sons and a daughter. During interrogation, family members were unable to provide any motive for the extreme step. They stated that the deceased may have left home late Thursday night and subsequently hanged himself.
Police are probing the case from all possible angles, including the possibility of a domestic dispute. Further investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances leading to the incident.
