The victim, identified as Gandhi from Gudiyatham in Tamil Nadu, was bludgeoned to death with a boulder by his wife's lover, Narasimhulu, in a chilling act witnessed by the young boy.
Boy Spends Night Beside Father's Body After Murder
The murder came to light the following day when the boy, Sandeep, emerged from the forest at dawn and alerted residents of Boyakonda Yenadipalyam hamlet. According to police reports, Sandeep had hidden in the bushes during the attack and, after the assailants left, spent the entire night next to his father's lifeless body. The child's bravery in seeking help led to the swift arrest of the perpetrators.
Background of the Tragic Incident
Police investigations revealed that Gandhi's wife, Rasathi, had recently deserted him and their son Sandeep after entering into an extramarital relationship with Narasimhulu, a resident of Boyakonda Yenadipalyam. In search of Rasathi, Gandhi and his son traveled to Chowdepalli, where they encountered Narasimhulu. Narasimhulu deceitfully promised to assist them but instead orchestrated a deadly plan.
After consuming liquor, Narasimhulu and his accomplices lured Gandhi and Sandeep to the isolated forest at night. There, they brutally attacked Gandhi with a boulder, killing him in front of his terrified son. The boy managed to escape immediate harm by hiding in the bushes until the attackers departed.
