The deceased, identified as Lal Bahadur Ram, son of Mahavir Ram and a resident of the same village, had ventured to his agricultural field to gather grass for his cattle.

According to police reports and family statements, the altercation began when Lal Bahadur Ram noticed a youth from the village cutting grass in his field without permission. Upon objecting to this intrusion, a heated argument erupted between the two individuals. Family members revealed that the victim sustained severe injuries to the back of his head and chest during the assault.
