When another man, Krishanmurari, attempted to intervene and stop the destruction, the situation escalated violently.
Singh allegedly attacked Krishanmurari with a wooden mace, resulting in a head injury that required primary medical care at a hospital. This assault added a layer of physical harm to the already sensitive case of religious property damage.
