First Discovery: Daily Wage Laborer Found with Severe Head Wounds
In the first incident, the body of 35-year-old daily wage laborer Prabhu Maravi from Keharpur village was discovered at Maharajpur playground on Monday. The victim was found soaked in blood with deep wounds to his head and neck that strongly suggest foul play. His slippers were found nearby, indicating the possibility of a struggle or sudden attack.
Police have sent the body for postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death and are actively scanning local CCTV footage for any suspicious activity or persons in the area around the time of the incident. The nature of the wounds has led investigators to treat this as a probable murder case.
Second Discovery: Two Bodies Found Near Narmada River Kumbh Site
In a separate but equally disturbing discovery, police found two bodies near the Narmada river's Kumbh site within Kotwali police limits. A youth was discovered hanging from a tree, with his body estimated to be approximately five to six days old. Approximately 100 meters away in nearby bushes, investigators found the mutilated corpse of a young woman.
Both individuals had been reported missing since March 24, with prior complaints filed at Maharajpur police station. The young man had been reported as a missing person, while the woman was the subject of an abduction case. Police officials confirmed that the two knew each other, adding complexity to the investigation.

Senior police officials including SP Rajat Saklecha and SDOP Piyush Mishra personally inspected both crime scenes as the investigation intensifies.
