Why Chinese Manjha is Banned

Chinese manjha refers to a type of kite-flying string. It is often coated with sharp materials like glass or metal. This makes it extremely dangerous.

  • It poses severe risks to birds, causing fatal injuries.
  • It can harm humans, especially two-wheeler riders, by cutting their throats.
  • Environmental and safety concerns have led to widespread bans across India.

Police regularly crack down on its sale and use. This arrest in Mhow is part of those ongoing efforts to enforce the ban and protect public safety.
