Patna: The bodies of two minor cousin sisters, who had been missing for the past two days, were found near Maksudpur brick kiln at Minapur village under Rampurhari police station area of Muzaffarpur district on Wednesday morning, police said. The deceased were identified as Mausam Kumari (12), daughter of Rajesh Rai, and her cousin Ruchi Kumari (7), daughter of Veer Chandra Kumar.
Sequence of Events
According to family members, the girls had been playing outside their house amid wedding-related activities in the village. On Monday, they had again gone to attend a puja ceremony but did not return home by evening, prompting a search by family members. When they could not be traced, the family informed the police.
