Missing man's mother pleads for justice, demands truth

Vijayawada: Emotions ran high in the controversial disappearance case of Gade Sai Krishna, as his mother Vijayalakshmi made an anguished appeal for justice, questioning the circumstances under which her son allegedly vanished after being taken into police custody.

Speaking to the media with tears in her eyes, Vijayalakshmi said she had been waiting every day for her son to return home. “If my son is alive, bring him back to me. If he is not, at least give me his ashes,” she pleaded. She alleged that former Krishnalanka CI Nagaraju had threatened her son and claimed she was denied access to him despite repeatedly asking to see him.

The grieving mother urged the authorities not to politicise the issue and instead focus on uncovering the truth. “We are not against the police department. We are only seeking justice for the alleged wrongdoing committed by one officer,” she said.

Sai Krishna’s maternal uncle, Navarang, also demanded a fair investigation and accused certain individuals of attempting to intimidate the family. He maintained that their fight was not against the police force but against those responsible for the alleged injustice.
