A deadly accident triggered by dense fog claimed one life and left another person injured on a Mohali road in the early hours of Monday. The tragic head-on collision occurred on Chapar Chiri Road, casting a pall over the area.
Details of the Chapar Chiri Road Accident
The incident took place near Sector 76, within the jurisdiction of the Industrial Area Police Post, Phase 8B. According to police reports, two cars collided while negotiating a turn. Poor visibility caused by intense fog is suspected to be the major factor behind the crash.
As the vehicles approached the turn, they reportedly failed to see each other in time, resulting in a severe head-on impact. The force of the collision was so powerful that both cars sustained extensive damage, indicating the high speed and sudden nature of the crash.
