Mumbai Man Held for Harassing Ex-Colleague with Obscene Videos

The Agripada police in Mumbai arrested a 24-year-old man on Thursday for allegedly sexually harassing a 19-year-old woman. According to officials, the accused sent obscene videos to the victim and repeatedly asked her to marry him.

Arrest and Remand

The accused, a resident of Sewree, was produced before a court that remanded him to police custody until April 28. The arrest followed a complaint filed by the woman, who reported the harassment to the authorities.

Background of the Case

Investigations revealed that the accused and the victim had worked together at the same company in central Mumbai about a year ago. The woman was employed as a telecaller, while the accused also worked there. The company has since shut down. It is alleged that the accused began harassing the woman after the company closed, sending her inappropriate videos and insisting on marriage.
