According to a formal complaint lodged at the Mankapur police station, the victim, identified as 21-year-old Mohammad Ghazi Iftikar Ahmed, was standing at Awasthi Chowk with his friend Insaf Khan around 12:30 AM. The situation escalated rapidly when the accused, Adil Sheikh (24), arrived at the location and began verbally abusing them.

The confrontation turned violent when Adil called his associates to the scene. A group including Aaqib Sheikh (28), Shoaib Sheikh (25), Imroz Khan (20), and Kabir Khan (21) – all residents of Jafar Nagar – allegedly launched a coordinated attack on Ghazi using multiple weapons.

Weapons Used and Injuries Sustained

The assailants reportedly attacked Ghazi with a knife, hockey stick, and hand buckle in what appears to have been a premeditated assault. Aaqib Sheikh allegedly stabbed Ghazi on the right side of his chest, while Shoaib Sheikh struck him on the head with significant force.

The violent blows caused heavy bleeding and serious injuries to the young victim. Despite his wounded condition, Ghazi managed to flee from his attackers in a desperate attempt to save his life.
