Suddenly, a city bus struck the police van from behind. The impact caused minor injuries to both suspects. The police team and witnesses remained unharmed.

On the complaint of an Indiranagar police constable, the Bhadrakali police registered an FIR against the bus driver. The driver faces charges under relevant sections of the BNS and the Motor Vehicle Act for rash driving.

The Bhadrakali police stated the case includes sections 281 for rash or negligent driving, 125(A) for endangering life or personal safety, and 324(1) for mischief under the BNS. Additionally, section 184 for dangerous driving under the Motor Vehicle Act applies.

Background of the Cheating Case

The Indiranagar police had registered a cheating case in December 2025. A man lost his plot in Nashik city due to fraudulent changes at the sub-registrar office.

The two arrested suspects served as witnesses in the sale deed document. Their arrest was part of the ongoing investigation into this property fraud.

Authorities continue to probe both the cheating case and the accident. The suspects received medical attention for their injuries and remain in custody.
