Tragic Accident in Noida Claims One Life, Leaves Another Critical
A young man lost his life and his friend sustained critical injuries in a devastating motorcycle accident in Badalpur, Noida. The incident occurred late on Tuesday evening, casting a shadow over the local community.
Details of the Fatal Crash
Police reports indicate that 32-year-old Krishna Singh died on the spot. His friend, 30-year-old Sundar Singh, suffered severe injuries and remains hospitalized. The accident took place around 7 PM near a tubewell in a farm area.
According to preliminary investigations, the two men had been consuming liquor at the tubewell before attempting to return home. Their motorcycle allegedly collided with a pole just 25 meters from the drinking spot. The impact proved so forceful that it broke portions of the pole.
Police Response and Investigation
Local residents discovered the injured men lying on the road and rushed them to a nearby hospital. Medical staff declared Krishna dead upon arrival. Sundar received immediate admission to the Intensive Care Unit for urgent treatment.
Police authorities learned about the incident around 11:30 PM when the deceased's family contacted them. The family initially raised suspicions about the circumstances, suggesting someone might have killed their son.
A team led by Pawan Kumar, ACP 2 of Central Noida, promptly visited the hospital. They arranged for an autopsy on Krishna's body and dispatched a forensic team to the accident site. Investigators collected several liquor bottles and chips packets from the tubewell area as evidence.
Conflicting Accounts Emerge
While police suspect a straightforward accident caused by the motorcycle hitting the pole, Krishna's family presents a different version. They claim the two men argued while drinking and that Sundar might be responsible for Krishna's death.
The family has not yet filed a formal complaint supporting these allegations. ACP Pawan Kumar acknowledged their concerns but emphasized that evidence collection continues. Forensic reports remain pending and will help determine the exact sequence of events.
