According to reports, a group of youths allegedly seized a DJ system without permission from the event organizers during the religious gathering. They proceeded to blast indecent songs and perform provocative dances in front of the idol of Goddess Saraswati, causing a significant disturbance. Witnesses at the scene captured the episode on their mobile phones, and the footage quickly went viral online, fueling public outrage over the perceived disrespect to religious sentiments.
Complaint and Police Investigation
Shiv Sena Lions leader Manish Verma filed a formal complaint with the police, prompting an investigation into the matter. Assistant Sub-Inspector Talwinder Singh, the investigating officer, stated that the organizers made repeated attempts to stop the youths, but they refused to comply, thereby disrupting the solemn event. Nearly a week after the incident, police lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against the four unidentified suspects.

The case has been registered under Sections 299 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, as confirmed by ASI Talwinder Singh.
