The period witnesses a significant surge in vehicular movement and large public gatherings, necessitating stricter vigilance. "The drive was aimed at ensuring road safety amid heavy vehicular movement and large public gatherings during the festive period," DCP Dixit explained.

A Message for Road Users

The massive scale of the enforcement drive sends a clear message from the Lucknow Traffic Police about the non-negotiable nature of traffic rules, especially during high-risk periods. The focus on helmetless riding and illegal parking highlights the areas requiring maximum public awareness and compliance. Such initiatives are expected to continue as part of ongoing efforts to reduce accidents and ensure orderly traffic flow in the state capital.
