Patna Tutor Accused of Sexually Exploiting Minor Girl Under False Marriage Promise
In a disturbing incident from Patna district, a minor girl has been allegedly sexually exploited by her private tutor, who is accused of luring her into a physical relationship based on a false promise of marriage. The accused has been identified as Punesh Kumar, and the case has sparked outrage and swift police action.
Police Register FIR and Launch Investigation
The incident came to light on Thursday, prompting immediate response from local authorities. Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, highlighting the serious nature of the allegations.
Acting on the information, a police team inspected the crime scene and called in a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team. The FSL conducted a detailed scientific examination to collect crucial evidence, aiming to build a strong case against the accused.
Intensive Efforts to Apprehend the Accused
Amarendra Kumar Jha, SDPO-II, stated that intensive efforts are underway to trace and arrest Punesh Kumar through raids and other legal measures. He emphasized that the case is being treated with top priority to ensure justice for the victim and uphold the law.
"We are committed to bringing the perpetrator to justice and providing support to the victim," said Jha, underscoring the urgency of the investigation.
Separate Incident: Matric Student Found Dead in Danapur
In an unrelated but tragic event, a matriculation student named Kunal Kumar was found hanging in Nageshwar Nagar, Danapur, on Thursday. Kunal, son of Krishna Kumar Singh from Jagdishpur, Ara, was staying with his uncle, who is currently in Ranchi for treatment, while preparing for his final exams.
A police team led by SI Dilip Mali discovered the body during routine patrolling and sent it for post-mortem examination. While initial indications suggest suicide, officers are awaiting the post-mortem report for confirmation.
Kunal's family has alleged murder, claiming he made a distressed WhatsApp call shortly before his death, adding a layer of complexity to the investigation.
These incidents highlight ongoing concerns about safety and justice in the region, with authorities working diligently to address both cases.
