The victim, a resident of Nabadia village under the jurisdiction of Amaria police station, was traveling on his motorcycle with his wife, Manjit Kaur, riding pillion. According to police reports, a truck traveling from the Amaria side towards Sitarganj struck the motorcycle from behind. The impact was severe, leading to immediate fatal injuries for the farmer.
Manjit Kaur sustained critical injuries in the collision and was rushed to a nearby hospital in Sitarganj, Uttarakhand, for emergency medical treatment. Her condition remains serious as medical personnel work to stabilize her.
