Key evidence tampering allegations point to sub-contractor Rajesh Kumar Prajapati, who is accused of instructing a laborer named Yogesh to cover the accident site with a green sheet and place barricades nearby. This act, police assert, constitutes clear tampering with evidence. Furthermore, Prajapati allegedly directed Yogesh to leave the city, adding to the gravity of the conspiracy charges.

Kamal Dhyani was returning home from work when he fell into a pit that had been dug just a few hours earlier for Delhi Jal Board's infrastructure work. Although the accident likely occurred around midnight on February 6, his body was not discovered until approximately 8 AM, after a passer-by alerted the police control room.
