According to Aravalli superintendent of police (SP) Manoharsinh Jadeja, the breakthrough came when a patrolling team led by inspector HP Garasiya received credible intelligence about a car transporting illegal liquor from Shamlapur toward Meravada. Acting swiftly on this information, the police team successfully intercepted the suspicious vehicle.

The driver of the car was immediately taken into custody and identified as Hardik Pandya, who hails from New Naroda in Ahmedabad. During a thorough search of the vehicle, authorities made a substantial discovery that confirmed their suspicions.
