The alleged crimes occurred on April 2 and 3, 2024, inside the accused's residence, highlighting a grave breach of trust within the community.

According to police reports, the situation came to light on April 3 when the girl's mother and aunt, while passing by the accused's house, witnessed him inappropriately touching the child. They immediately raised an alarm, rescued the girl, and reported the matter to the authorities. This prompt response led to the man's arrest under stringent legal provisions.
The girl later disclosed to her mother that on April 2, the accused had called her into his home and sexually assaulted her. She remained silent out of fear, as the man had threatened to kill her if she revealed the abuse to anyone. Legal Charges and Ongoing Investigation
The Bhosari MIDC police have booked the accused under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including:
